Overview of the conference
The conference was in the morning of November 1st in Hanoi by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs collaborating with UNICEF Vietnam.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, the Deputy PM of MOLISA, made her speech at the conference.
The main topic of the conference was about violence and sexual abuse against children and how to prevent such situations.
The conference confirms the Comprehensive Children Development Project in 3 provinces including Dien Bien, Gia Lai and Kon Tum. This project aims to provide parents with more comprehensive knowledge regarding children’s health, connect them with society’s help so that their children can get equal chances to approach physical and mental health services.
Ms. Lesley Miler, deputy representative of UNICEF Vietnam, made a speech at the conference.
